Kaz Leong
Photographer, Visual Artist, Nurse.
My life and nursing experience have given me an understanding of people and an ability to view my subjects compassionately, adding a unique and intimate dimension to my photography, always embracing our shared humanity.
I travel extensively throughout S.E. Asia and Australia, exploring different cultures, practising my craft and meeting people, celebrating life through my images.
I am finding that my photography is opening up avenues where I can, always respectfully, empower others raising awareness of social issues, and perhaps creating social change.
I continue to use my skill to make others feel beautiful and to capture life moments that otherwise may go undocumented.
